NRF Adds Four Members to Board at First In-Person Meeting Since Pandemic

WASHINGTON – Executives from four of the nation’s most prominent brands were named members of the National Retail Federation Board of Directors today as the board held its first in-person meeting since the beginning of the pandemic.

“These are executives of leading companies who have a wealth of expertise and experience that will prove invaluable as the retail industry continues to recover from its most significant challenge in living memory,” NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay said. “We welcome their advice and counsel in guiding our efforts to support retailers in navigating that recovery. As they join the board, today’s in-person meeting is a symbol of our industry’s commitment to returning to normal whether it’s in-store operations or working together to address mutual concerns.”

The new board members include:

  • BJ’s Wholesale Club President and CEO Robert W. Eddy
  • IBM General Manager of U.S. Distribution Gina Claxton
  • Old Navy President and CEO Nancy Green
  • PepsiCo Foods North America CEO Steven Williams
