It’s said that everything is bigger in Texas, and retail is no exception. NRF explored stories from some of the nation’s most recognizable names in retail, alongside stops in the Dallas and Austin small business communities. When it comes to retail jobs and economic success, there may not be a better example than Texas. More than 3.5 million people work in retail, and the industry accounts for 15 percent of the state's economic output.
