The 2012 Shop.org Board of Director Election process to elect new Directors – retail and non-retail – has begun. The 19-person Board of Directors is Shop.org's elected leadership. In the spirit of Shop.org's "by the member, for the member" ethic, the Board is elected by the members.
Shop.org is pleased to announce the list of this year's candidates, as selected by the Nomination Committee. Each Shop.org member company has one vote. The ballots are sent via email on August 9, 2010 to the person who has been designated as the primary contact/voting member for the company.Contact Joan Broughton at broughtonj@shop.org if you are the primary contact/voting member for you company and have not received your ballot. Employees who are not the voting members are encouraged to share their opinions about who should be elected with their company's voting member.
