
NRF Annual Convention & EXPO – Thought Leadership Opportunities
Date: January 13-16, 2008
NRF will program 6-8 forums Sunday-Tuesday of the convention. Each forum will take place for 90 minutes and sponsors will collaborate with NRF staff to identify the content and speakers. Forum content should be strategic in nature, geared to the top retail executive and must include retailers as co-presenters. Sponsor is encouraged to provide some give-away or “goodie” bag to forum attendees. Potential sponsors should submit their forum concept and potential speakers to NRF by May 1st.
Your company logo will appear in all convention marketing materials, on the convention web site and signage. Sponsor can also leave a piece of NRF-approved collateral in the back of the room.
Networking Roundtables
During the convention, at least one 45-minute period of time will be set aside for attendees to discuss top issues of concern in a quiet setting. Sponsors and NRF staff will identify 10-15 topics for discussion and tables will be labeled with the topic name. Ten attendees can join the round table and if there are more than 10 who want to discuss the topic, a second round table will be started to address the subject. The role of the sponsor is to moderate the discussion, facilitate introductions, invite attendees to ask questions and share ideas, and ensure that vendors who may attend the discussion are not promoting their company’s particular solution. (Attendees are not required to register in advance for the roundtable)
Your company logo will appear in all convention promotions, signage for the networking roundtables and in the convention program book.
