State Leadership Group

As the leading voice for the retail industry in Washington, NRF provides national coverage on a wide range of industry-specific issues of concern to retailers, including leadership on proposals affecting health care, tax law, labor management, credit and banking relationships, transportation, and a host of other topics. 

The State Leadership Group is a joint membership opportunity that allows for small retail businesses to become members of NRF through their state retail association.  Strengthening the relationship between the states and NRF signals a "win-win" for the overall retail policy agenda; the state association expands its benefits package to in-state members, and NRF expands the industry's political reach and influence through the all-important small business voice in Washington.
