National Council of Chain Restaurants today issued the following statement from Executive Director
Rob Green on the U.S. Court of Appeals’ decision in Noel Canning v. National Labor Relations Board (NLRB):
“Today’s court decision is a huge victory for America’s small business owners, chain restaurant operators and franchisees.
“NCCR applauds the well-reasoned decision and we hope that it provides the President and Congress the opening they need to find common ground on workforce and labor policy which appropriately balances the rights of employers and employees.
“The court should be commended for its unanimous decision reaffirming the Senate’s constitutional authority and responsibility to provide advice and consent on executive appointments.”
