Washington, May 29, 2012 – Shop.org will welcome two of the industry’s most influential and prominent executives to its Annual Summit this September in Denver. Jerry Storch, chairman and CEO, Toys“R”Us, Inc., and Jamie Nordstrom, president of Nordstrom Direct will both keynote at the event, which is the premier gathering for retail e-commerce, digital and multichannel retailers. The three-day Summit will take place September 10-12 at the Colorado Convention Center.

Jerry Storch joined Toys“R”Us, Inc. in February 2006 as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. In this capacity, he is responsible for leveraging the strength of the Toys“R”Us brand and positioning the global franchise for growth over the long term. Storch has led the rapid growth of the Toys“R”Us e-commerce business on a global basis, and, in 2009, added to the company’s U.S. portfolio of online brands with the acquisitions of eToys.com, KBToys.com, Toys.com and FAO.com. The company’s e-commerce business reached $1 billion in sales in 2011. Jerry has championed the company’s omnichannel strategy, creating a seamless shopping experience for customers wherever, whenever and however they wish to shop.
Jamie Nordstrom is executive vice president and president of Nordstrom Direct
for Nordstrom, Inc. Jamie supports Nordstrom.com, mobile, catalogs and fulfillment center operations and, together with the executive team, has helped lead the company’s efforts to improve the customer experience in store and online. Jamie and the Nordstrom Direct team have accelerated e-commerce growth by building upon the company's strong multichannel foundation and better defining service online through greater speed and convenience, a broader merchandise selection, and a richer, more personalized experience. Jamie began his career working in the stockroom, and went on to hold various positions in sales, store and buying management before receiving his current assignment.
