Retail Advertising and Marketing Association Elects New Board Members 

Washington, September 14, 2009 – The Retail Advertising and Marketing Association, a division of the National Retail Federation, announced today that six new retail marketing executives have been elected to its Board of Directors.  Each individual was elected by current RAMA members to serve up to two consecutive 3-year terms.  

New board members include:

Greg Clark, Vice President, Creative Leadership & Process, JCPenney Co, Inc.
Jay Dunn, Vice President, Marketing, Lane Bryant
Lisa Gavales, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Express, LLC
Colleen Mayer, Vice President, Marketing and Administrative Services, The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc.
Peter Sachse, Chief Marketing Officer, Macy’s, Inc.
Ginny Shiverdecker, Executive Vice President, Managing Director, McCann Erickson

Board members represent the needs of the RAMA membership, which includes over 1500 retail marketing and advertising executives plus their supporting partners from the advertising agency, media and service-provider areas. In addition to providing insights on marketing and advertising trends, RAMA Board members are active with selecting Racie award winners and in planning RAMA’s regional meetings.  

The next RAMA Board of Directors meeting will be held on September 17 in Washington, D.C. 

The Retail Advertising & Marketing Association, a division of the National Retail Federation, is a trade association of over 1500 retail marketing and advertising executives, plus their supporting partners from the advertising agency, media and service-provider areas. RAMA sponsors the annual Retail Innovation and Marketing Conference, the largest single gathering of retail marketing and advertising professionals in the industry today.
