RAMA Announces New Board Members --Execs from Giant Tiger Stores, MSN Shopping, Saks Fifth Avenue and La-Z-Boy Join Board--
Washington, October 3, 2008– Four new retail marketing executives have been elected to the Board of Directors of the Retail Advertising & Marketing Association, a division of the National Retail Federation. Each individual was elected by current RAMA members to serve a three-year term. RAMA Board members represent the needs of the RAMA membership which includes more than 1500 retail marketing and advertising executives, plus supporting partners from advertising agencies, service-providers, and media.
Comprised of both senior level retail marketing executives and industry partners, the RAMA Board of Directors addresses critical issues facing retail marketers and works together to bring solutions to the challenges they face. In addition to providing insights on marketing and advertising trends, the RAMA Board is active in planning for the Retail Advertising Conference held in Las Vegas, February 25-27; the RACie Awards in Las Vegas on February 26th; and RAMA’s regional meetings.
The next RAMA Board of Directors meeting will be held on February 27, 2009, in Las Vegas.
The Retail Advertising & Marketing Association, a division of the National Retail Federation, is a trade association of over 1500 retail marketing and advertising executives, plus their supporting partners from the advertising agency, media and service-provider areas.
