RAMA Announces New Board Members

-- Execs from Best Buy, ShopKo, Goody’s, ULTA, Relax the Back Join Board--


Washington, August 22, 2007– Five new retail marketing executives have been elected to the Board of Directors of the Retail Advertising & Marketing Association, a division of the National Retail Federation. Additionally, twelve executives have been reelected. Each individual was elected by current RAMA members to serve a three-year term.

RAMA Board members represent the needs of the RAMA membership which includes over 1500 retail marketing and advertising executives, plus their supporting partners from the advertising agency, media and service-provider areas. In addition to providing insights on marketing and advertising trends, the RAMA Board is active in planning for the Retail Advertising Conference, the RACie Awards, and RAMA’s regional meetings.  

Newly-elected RAMA Board Members are:
 
  • Nancy Altman, VP, Marketing, ULTA Salon, Cosmetics and Fragrance, Inc.
  • Leanne Mattes, VP, Marketing, Relax the Back Corp.
  • Jack Mullen, Senior Vice President of Marketing, ShopKo Stores, Inc.
  • Manny Palomo, Group Creative Director, Best Buy Co., Inc.
  • Gary Yiatchos, SVP and Chief Marketing Officer, Goody's Family Clothing, Inc.

The next RAMA Board of Directors meeting will be held on September 11 in Washington, D.C. 

The Retail Advertising & Marketing Association, a division of the National Retail Federation, is a trade association of over 1500 retail marketing and advertising executives, plus their supporting partners from the advertising agency, media and service-provider areas. RAMA sponsors the annual Retail Advertising Conference, the largest single gathering of retail marketing and advertising professionals in the industry today.
