State Association Council
SAC membership comprises the state retail associations that are most active in protecting their members' interests in both the state and national public policy arena. SAC consists of leading state retail associations which have partnered with NRF and its membership base to work collectively in tackling timely and critical multi-state and federal issues impacting retailers. SAC members, working in conjunction with NRF, are considered leaders on issues including sales tax simplification, business activity tax, gift cards, radio frequency identification (RFID), electronics recycling, privacy and security, legal reform, health care, and a host of other topics of critical interest to the retail community. SAC serves as a forum to manage and coordinate strategy and leverage resources across the states and in Washington, D.C. In addition, SAC members serve as the NRF's select partners for our ever-expanding efforts in federal grassroots and political education activities. Committee membership is limited to state associations only.
