ID Theft Working Group
This working group was created as a result of the Choice Point and Bank of America security breaches, concerns over identity theft [the safety of personally identifiable information (PII)] and the ways in which PII is used by the business community. These complicated issues have come to the forefront on Capitol Hill and in the states. In order to best coordinate and manage this growing set of issues, and any legislation that may arise, this working group hosts regular conference calls to discuss recent developments and explore appropriate solutions.
